KI-DEFICIENCY

Symptoms

A KI deficiency type is when the「qi (KI)」, which is considered as “Life energy” (the source of energy), is low. 「KI」is responsible for controlling the mind and also moves and controls your whole body. If your「KI」is deficient, then the symptoms below can occur: You can get tired easily and lose motivation, you can be prone to infectious diseases such as colds, you have no appetite, and you can have a weak gastrointestinal tract. This type is often found in people with considerate and delicate personalities, and people who tend to be frail.

Meal point

1. Consuming foods (ingredients) that replenish「KI」and adjust your gastrointestinal function.
Examples: Rice, Glutinous Rice, Coix Seed, Brown Rice, Soybean, Black Bean, Green Soybean (Edamame), Sweet Potato, Potato, Yamaimo (Japanese Yam), Leek, Shiitake Mushroom, Corn, Pumpkin, Carrots, Coriander, Lychee, Apples, Coconut, Longan, Jujube, Japanese Amberjack, Chicken, Duck meat, Pork, Quail Egg.
