Symptoms

In this type there is an excessive amount of Yang’s「KI」- the energy of life, and plenty of heat is accumulated in the body. This causes symptoms such as; facial redness, acne-prone skin, becoming excited easily, and experiencing nervousness. In addition, since「Water (SUI)」in the body is used to cool down the body heat, 「Water (SUI)」is depleted quickly, which causes dry, parched skin and hair, unquenchable thirst, and dry coughing. This type is often seen in people who are physically strong, enthusiastic, tend to like meat, and eat and drink well.
